The life aquatic, in the Triassic

This picture has been hanging around in my files for too long, so it’s time to get it out and on show. Not very archosaur-y I know, but it’s a lovely diorama (from Stuttgart) and well worth including. There’s a placodont, Tanstropheus and a couple of nothosaurs  in addition to the various fish and crinoids.

On the upside though, there’s some Gorgosaurus goodness and more pterosaurs coming next week, which I’m sure will make up for this one.
