The skull on the left is L. lambei, and the one on the right is L. clavinitialis. They’re both casts of Tyrrell Museum specimens.

It’s pretty amazing, I had to click on the picture to make sure it wasn’t some of the bones in the background giving the illusion of making a fancier crest… quite astonishing.

Thank you for the latest hadrosaur posts, Dave. Friends know I’m a little crazy about them…

I wonder if this might be an opportune moment to ask whether you have any more skeletal material of hadrosaur hands you could share at all? I know you posted about it once long ago, and that is the post I always show to folks to demonstrate that, quite contrary to so many depictions, hadrosaurs do have claws on their hands. If you have any more pictures of them in which the unguals can be clearly seen on all digits (except the ‘pinky’, of course), that would be just wonderful.
