		<description><![CDATA[Could have done, but Chris specifically says there&#039;s no evidence of loss, merely a nub at the back of the skull. This appears to be an alternate form. This specimen looks, to me, like a sub-adult, and while crests like this probably grew rapidly it does seem extremely unlikely they could go from zero to colossal in a year or so. Certainly other crested pterosaurs seem to start acquiring their crests before adulthood, so it would seem logical here and thus the absence at this stage suggests it was never going to get one.]]></description>
