Monolophosaurus and Sinraptor

As promised, here are some more theropod photos from the IVPP. Sinraptor has featured on here before with a photo I took some years ago, but here’s a relative closeup of the skull in the horrible, horrible mount of the holotype. Below the fold is Monolophosaurus, which  appeared on the Musings recently, though only the model that stands outside the IVPP rather than the actual skeleton.

    Hang on, you mean to say that they’ve mounted the holotype? Not a cast? Like that? Wow.
